Join WIPO on July 12 and discover the SMEs and startups who are making waves in health, climate and advanced technologies by utilizing IP to tackle both local and global issues. They will also share with the audience their needs to take their intellectual property (IP) to the next level!
This year, the competition saw an impressive turnout, with more than 660 SMEs and startups applying from 107 countries. Each participant showcased how they utilized IP to address significant challenges and drive progress. After a rigorous selection process, a jury of international experts chose nine to be the winners of this third edition of the Global Awards.
The ceremony will feature a keynote speech by WIPO Director General Daren Tang on the pivotal role of IP in fostering impactful business development for a better society. The event will present the 25 exceptional finalists, culminating in the announcement of the winners. Each winner will then take the stage to make a compelling call to the IP and business community for support in bringing their ideas to market. A roundtable and a networking activity will then take place, attended by members of the international jury, WIPO General Assembly members, and representatives of the innovation ecosystem.
This promises to be a celebration of achievement and a wellspring of inspiration, providing invaluable insights into the transformative power of IP. Don’t miss this opportunity to be inspired and contribute to the success of these visionary projects.
Register here to join the event physically at WIPO, or here to tune in on the online webcast of the ceremony, on Friday, July 12, at 11:30 (Geneva time).
