Details
"Crime Medicine" campaign (launched in 2008) to inform the public about the risks involved in buying (fake) medicines on the Internet, consisting of two steps: first, letting people know that the phenomenon of buying medicines on the Internet exists; second, going behind the scenes: showing that there are many disreputable sites offering counterfeit products and packs for sale and revealing the tricks and lies the people behind these sites use for their own gain, without any consideration for the people they sell to
Using TV commercials, the fake company "Crime Medicine" tries to lure viewers to the website www.crimemedicine.com which at first looks like an online pharmacy; however, within seconds, the facade falls apart and the dirty truth is revealed - authentic police pictures of filthy basements, where tablets are made, are shown together with information on the illegal drug trade
