The WIPO Academy teams up with renowned universities and intellectual property (IP) offices all over the world to offer joint master’s degree programs in IP. Graduates go on to become part of a community of 2500+ alumni who are movers and shakers of the global IP ecosystem.
Applications are now open for the next editions of the following Master’s Degree Programs:
- Master of Laws (LL.M.) in IP with the University of Turin in Turin, Italy (until July 1, 2023)
- LL.M. in IP (with specializations in Patent and Design Laws) with the University of Ankara in Ankara, Türkiye (until July 10, 2023)
- Master’s Degree in IP with the University of Yaoundé II in Yaoundé, Cameroon (until July 31, 2023)
- LL.M. in IP and Technology Law with IE University in Madrid, Spain (until August 1, 2023)
- Master’s Degree in IP and New Technologies with Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland (until August 31, 2023)
- Master’s Degree in IP and Development Policy with KDI School in Sejong, Republic of Korea (until September 23, 2023)

Why apply?
Selected candidates for each program get the opportunity to learn from leading IP experts from academia, the private sector and the public sector. After successfully completing the program graduates receive a globally recognized degree from WIPO and its partner institutions attesting to the achieved level of IP expertise. As part of the program, participants also get the chance to build on their practical work experience through internships at WIPO, regional IP offices, national IP offices or in private companies. Most importantly, each cohort builds on a growing community of peers and life-long friends as part of a professional and personal support system.
