How do I pay my IP fees in WIPO Pay with Sofort (Klarna)?

  • Step 1

    File your application

    • File your application for PCT, eHague, eLisbon, Domain Name cases and UPOV Online Services,
    • enter WIPO Pay, and
    • select Direct Bank Transfer (secured by Sofort) as your payment method.
  • Step 2

    Authorize payment with your bank through Sofort (Klarna)

    • Enter the country of your bank, your contract number and password,
    • select your bank account, and
    • confirm the transaction with the code received.
  • Step 3

    Wait until WIPO receives your payment

    Although the payment request using Direct Bank Transfer (secured by Sofort) is successful, the payment status remains Pending. Once we receive the payment, we will update the status of your payment to Paid. This may take a couple of days.
  • Step 4

    Receive a payment confirmation and a receipt from WIPO

    If the payment is successful, you will receive a payment confirmation and a receipt by email within 10 working days.
