WIPO IP Portal: New MENU Features for Lisbon Users

Modern, functional and easy to use, the WIPO IP Portal is the place to go for managing your global appellation of origin or geographical indication protection with WIPO.

In our continued efforts to improve the services provided through the WIPO IP Portal, we have added a number of new features and streamlined the categorization of Lisbon online services, making it even easier for you to find what you are looking for.

What has changed?  

  • The services have been grouped under two main categories (Search and File & Manage) making navigation around Lisbon System services easier and more intuitive.
  • A link to the Global Brand Database has been added under the Search sub-category to allow you to easily search existing appellations of origin from multiple national and international sources.
  • The new File & Manage sub-category includes links providing access to all official forms used under the Lisbon Registry, to the list of Accessions-Declarations of the contracting parties, to the Applicable Procedures to Challenge and Enforce Rights, and to information regarding the fees and payment methods for your international registration.
  • The “Bookmarks” menu and widget (available only to logged in users) has been renamed “My Favorites”. “My Favorites” provides quick access to your bookmarked services and widgets
  • A “NEW” icon has been added to highlight the new services available through the MENU. Any new Lisbon services will be flagged with this icon
  • Finally, we’ve added a promotional space to keep you up-to-date on new WIPO services and important news regarding existing services.
