Madrid e-Filing Now Available to Croatian Trademark Applicants
January 31, 2023
Croatia is the latest Madrid System Member to sign up to our Madrid e-Filing service, bringing the number of intellectual property (IP) Offices using the platform to 19.
Starting January 31, 2023, Croatian trademark holders will be able to file their applications for international trademark registrations online, directly via the website of the State Intellectual Property Office of the Republic of Croatia (SIPO).

Madrid e-Filing will enable Croatian brand owners to extend the scope of protection of their national trademark registrations in a secure, online environment. Perhaps the biggest advantage for Croatian users is that they can communicate directly with SIPO, and immediately receive and respond to irregularities issued by WIPO electronically, saving a significant amount of time in the processing of their international registrations.

Madrid e-Filing – a fully digital process
Madrid e-Filing provides a completely digital and streamlined environment for users to file – and IP Offices to process – applications for international trademark registrations. Brand owners can directly communicate with their Office of origin, and receive – and respond to – any irregularity notices issued by WIPO through the platform. The process is secure, and saves valuable time!
