Hélène Dernis is a statistician in the Directorate for Science, Technology and Industry at the OECD. Since joining the OECD Secretariat in 1996, she has been engaged in the development of a database on patents, within the framework of the OECD Patent Project. Her current responsibilities include the construction of patent families.
She holds a degree in Econometrics from University Paris II, France and a Master's in Microeconomics of Risk Assessment from the Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS) de Cachan, France.
