Anne Rejnhold Jørgensen, a national of Denmark, was born in 1958. Ms. Jørgensen holds a Master of Laws from University of Copenhagen from which she graduated in February 1984. She subsequently obtained a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School in 1992.
Anne Rejnhold Jørgensen is currently the Director of International Affairs in the Danish Patent and Trademark Office. In that position, Ms. Jørgensen acts on behalf of the Danish government in negotiations in different international fora within the field of IPR; Trademarks, Patents, Utility Models and Design.
Anne Rejnhold Jørgensen has been the speaker at many international and national conferences and is presently Adjunct Professor at the University of Copenhagen in IPR.
Anne Rejnhold Jørgensen is presently representing Denmark in the following foras:
- In the European Patent Organisation: The Administrative Council of the European Patent Organisation, the Patent Law Committee, the Working Group on Litigation and as the Chairman of the subgroup of Litigation,
- In the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (Trade Marks and Designs): The Administrative Board and Budget Committee,
- In the World Intellectual Property Organization: The Assemblies of the Member states of the World Intellectual Property Organization, the Standing Committee on the Law of Patents,
- In Group B+: Chairman of Group B+.
Anne Rejnhold Jørgensen has previously been responsible for the development of the national legislation within IPR and in this capacity she has been a member of the Committee for Domain
