Rigo Wenning studied law at University Saarbrücken and Université de Nancy II. After research activities at the Centre Juridique Franco-Allemand, the Institute for penal law and at the Institute for Computing & Law of University Saarbrücken, he joined W3C in 1999. At W3C he is working as staff counsel and Privacy Activity Lead also responsible for liaisons to European Standardization(ICTSB). Rigo has expertise in a variety of areas ranging from computer security over DRM to privacy technologies to the legal implications of those technologies including copyright and other rights on intangible
goods.
