Dr. Li Yuguang, senior engineer, graduated from Institute of Metallurgy and Material Engineering of Chongqing University. After that, he went to study at the Technical University of Berlin, majoring in automation control in the Institute of Measure and Control systems, where he obtained his doctor's degree of engineering.
1988-1995, he successively worked in Germany and Italy. 1995-1998, he worked as Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer in Foshan Electric Industry Parent Company (Group Company) in Guangdong Province of China. 1998-2003, he was appointed as Deputy Mayor of Foshan City and Director of Management Board of Hi-tech Industry Development Region in Guangdong Province of China. 1995-2003, he was the Standing Member of the People's Political Consultative Conference of Guangdong Province.
He has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office of the People’s Republic of China since September 2003.
A member of the ninth, tenth and eleventh session of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
