Currently the Director of the WFP office in Geneva. Previously has been WFP Representative and Country Director in DR Congo, Afghanistan, Haiti as well as Head of Office and Emergency Coordinator in the Former Yugoslavia. He has also worked in programme and logistics in India, Madagascar, and HQ. He was the Deputy Director of the WFP office at UN, NY and the Assistant to the Senior Deputy Executive Director of WFP in Rome. He started his UN career as a UN Volunteer for WFP in Karamoja, Uganda, in 1983.
Mr. Vincent has a Master of Science (M.S.) International Rural Development with specialization in agricultural economics from the University of California at Davis, California, USA and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) Political Science (international relations) and minor in international economics from Haverford College, Haverford, Pennsylvania, USA.
Mr. Vincent is bilingual English and French and fluent in Spanish
