Regional Seminar for the Asia Pacific Group on Libraries, Archives, Museums and Educational & Research Institutions in the Field of Copyright

This regional seminar was proposed in accordance with the Action Plans on Limitations and Exceptions approved by member states during SCCR/36 in June 2018.

The objective of the seminar was to analyze the situation of libraries, archives and museums as well as educational and research institutions, and areas for action, with respect to the limitations and exceptions regime and the specificities of the member states in the region.

The seminar was jointly organized by WIPO and the Government of Singapore, under its Singapore Cooperation Programme, through the Technical Cooperation Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the assistance of the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore.
