November 2023 marks 10 years since the inception of WIPO GREEN. On November 1-2, 2023, a series of events will highlight the impact and success of WIPO GREEN, as well as deliberate on the scale and increased impact going forward.
Symposium – Accelerating the Imperative: Green Technology Deployment
On November 1, 2023, a day-long symposium will deep dive into green technologies’ role in shaping a sustainable and regenerative future. Experts will discuss market-ready innovations, spotlight pivotal industries, and highlight geographical regions making a difference. The focus will be on identifying opportunities, aligning net zero initiatives with solutions, and bridging knowledge gaps in green technology. Financing discussions will aim to find pathways for green technology deployment, while a moderated panel will explore innovation cooperation and novel licensing strategies. Attendees will also engage in discussions about WIPO GREEN’s potential for further expansion.

Following the symposium, an invitation-only reception will be held at 17.45 pm (CET).
Advisory Board Meeting
On November 2, 2023, the WIPO GREEN Advisory Board will convene from 9:30 am-12:30 pm (CET). This event is by invitation only. Those who are not yet WIPO GREEN partners can signal their interest to participate as an observer, subject to approval. Please notify the Secretariat at the time of registration for the event.
WIPO GREEN has built a community of green technology stakeholders, collected a treasure trove of knowledge about green technologies, developed and tested a framework for matching needs and technologies, and has gained insights on technology deployment through a series of projects to address local needs and developed tools to support innovators. We look forward to celebrating and moving forward with you!
