This edition of the WIPO-Brazil Summer School will cover topics related to the intersection between Intellectual Property and social and economic inclusion. The program is subdivided into 6 sections, covering Copyright, Traditional Cultural Expressoins, Traditional Knowledge and Genetic Resources; trademarks, Geographical Indications, Industrial Designs and Plant Varieties; Patents; International Registratoins Systems as a Facilitator for Inclusion; and IP and Best Practices
The main objective of this Course is to offer information about the IP System, and about what its impact may have in different areas, in addition to offering some concepts about IP, which makes it easier for this group of professionals to prepare articles and news related to IP. This ninth edition of this initiative aims at introducing basic knowledge about intellectual property focus on “IP, inclusion and diversity” to professionals from different types of media to encourage greater interest and reporting on IP issues
