China: The Decision of the Supreme People's Court on Amendments to the Interpretation of the Supreme People's Court on Several Issues Concerning the Application of Law in the Trial of Patent Dispute Cases was approved at the 1570 th Session of the Judicial Committee of the Supreme People's Court on February 25, 2013, and came into force on April 15, 2013.

In accordance with this Decision, the Basic People's Court can be designated by the Supreme People's Court as a court of first instance to hear patent disputes.
