Launch of the Patent Landscape Report on COVID-19 related vaccines and therapeutics

WIPO launched on March 10, 2022 its latest patent landscape report on COVID-19 related vaccines and therapeutics.

The report provides first insights on the use and response of the patent system during the pandemic, while it also links patent to clinical trial data.

The event started with opening remarks by the Director Generals of WHO, WTO and WIPO, and included a panel discussion on technologies to fight COVID-19, the role of research and partnerships, and the use and response of the patent system during the pandemic.
