Announcement of Outage of the ePCT System

October 20, 2022

The ePCT system was unavailable due to technical issues from 2:30 am to 6:25 am, Central Europe Summer Time, on 19 October 2022.  The problems have been resolved and ePCT is currently available as normal.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

Applicants who were unable to meet a time limit fixed in the PCT Regulations because of the outage may avail themselves of the legal remedy under PCT Rule 82quater.2(a).  For more information, please refer to the Official Notices (PCT Gazette) of 16 July 2020, pages 155 and 156, and visit the specific webpage on Unavailability of Electronic Means of Communication at Offices.
