Upcoming Webinar on AI Tools for IP Training

The WIPO Academy’s Intellectual Property Training Institutions (IPTIs) Program, through its IPTIs Network, is organizing a webinar on artificial intelligence (AI) tools for intellectual property (IP) trainings. The webinar will be held on November 28, 2024 from 10 am to 11 am Geneva time and will be delivered in English.
What will the webinar cover?
Participants of the webinar will benefit from an overview of ways to use generative AI tools to enhance the IP training process, including in:
- Lesson planning;
- Educational content creation; and
- Interactive learning.
The webinar will also address ethical and privacy considerations when using AI tools for educational purposes. All those who participate fully in the webinar and are present for the entire training will receive a WIPO Academy certificate.
How to sign up?
Anyone wishing to enroll in the upcoming webinar on AI as a Tool for IP Training must have completed the free online IP Training Strategies Course (IPTI-001) by November 25, 2024 to receive the registration link.
What is the IPTI-001 course?
The IPTI-001 is a practical self-paced online course for those wishing to learn the core skills needed for planning and delivering IP trainings. The course covers topics including:
- How adults learn;
- Diagnosing IP training needs;
- Training design and delivery;
- Training assessment and evaluation; and
- eLearning basics.
