This Casebook consists of a carefully selected compilation of judgments on intellectual property (IP) enforcement in Arab countries, with in-depth analysis identifying similarities and, where appropriate, highlighting differences within the jurisprudence. It addresses the most recent decisions on IP enforcement with a particular focus on trademark counterfeiting and copyright piracy issues, including damages, provisional measures and unfair competition. This is a new publication in the field of enforcement of IP rights, which aims at improving access to recent developments in the case law for judges, public prosecutors, lawyers, researchers and IP enforcement officers in the Arab region.
