Upcoming Event: The Fifteenth Session of the Advisory Committee on Enforcement (ACE), August 31 to September 2, 2022

August 16, 2022

Fourteenth ACE session in September 2019

The Building Respect for IP Division is pleased to announce that the fifteenth session of the Advisory Committee on Enforcement (ACE) will take place from August 31 to September 2, 2022, in a hybrid format, both at WIPO headquarters in Geneva and through an online platform.

After a two-year hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the ACE is returning as the global forum for international policy dialogue on IP enforcement and building respect for IP. It will provide a platform for sharing ideas and experiences on issues related to preventing and combating IP infringement.

More than 30 speakers from across the world, representing both developed and developing countries, will discuss new developments and national experiences in relation to the following topics:

  • Institutional Arrangements to Address Online IP Infringements
  • Coordinating IP Enforcement
  • The Role of Intermediaries in IP Enforcement (Online and Physical)
  • Specific Awareness-raising Products and Activities
  • New Technologies in IP Enforcement
  • Adjudication of IP Infringement Cases
  • WIPO Support for Capacity Building in the Area of Building Respect for IP

A full list of contributions and topics may be found in the Suggested Time Schedule.  The working documents are available on the ACE webpage.

WIPO Member States and accredited Observers are invited to register here.

Any inquiries about the fifteenth session of the ACE may be sent to the ACE Secretariat at: enforcement@wipo.int.
