The webpage showcases the results of the pilot project, Increasing the Role of Women in Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Encouraging Women to Use Intellectual Property System, proposed by the United States, Canada, and Mexico to the WIPO Development and Intellectual Property Committee (CDIP) in 2018 and launched in 2019.
This project aimed to promote the participation of women inventors and innovators in national innovation systems by providing access to intellectual property resources, mentorship and networking opportunities. The pilot was implemented in Mexico, Oman, Pakistan, and Uganda, and empowered women to pursue their ideas and contribute to their countries' economies.
