The IP Office of Singapore (IPOS) and WIPO launched the Mentorship for Intangible Assets Transformation (MINT) pilot program in Singapore on April 18, 2023. The first edition of this four-month program brings together 15 enterprises with a pool of 11 local and international IP and business experts selected by WIPO to support the local companies with one-on-one mentorship and training to use their intangible assets (IA), including intellectual property (IP), to grow their business.
The introductory meeting which was held online and in-person in the headquarters of IPOS provided an opportunity for the representatives of the companies to meet their mentors and the program’s supporting partners, the Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Enterprise Singapore, and Singapore Business Federation. The companies participating in the program span across different sectors - including technology, media and communication, industrial manufacturing, consumer goods, health and life science technology .
Singapore officials, together with WIPO officials from the IP and Innovation Ecosystems Sector, Patents and Technology Sector and the WIPO Academy were at hand to answer questions and provide support.
