Organized in collaboration with the Agencia del Cine y Audiovisual (ACAU) and the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Minery (MIEM), the WIPO IP Management Clinic will help  audiovisual producers to better manage the intellectual property in all stages of the audiovisual production, from pitching and development phase to distribution.

What will you learn at the IP clinic?

The participating companies will benefit from various activities spread over five months, including:

  • One-on-one mentorship with international Audiovisual experts
  • Training opportunities under WIPO’s hybrid/distance learning sessions
  • Access to tailored tools on IP clearance and IP management in audiovisual projects
  • Opportunities for networking

How to participate?

To participate the interested audiovisual producers located in Uruguay must apply through the online form. In-person workshop will take place in Montevideo from 2 to 4 of May, 2024.

Deadline and schedule

To participate, please submit your application online by April 5, 2024.

All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application. The program will launch in April 2024.

About IP for business and WIPO Academy hybrid courses

The IP for Business Division (IPBD) is responsible for developing tools and services and implementing programs to support enterprises maximize their potential through intellectual property.
