1. Discussion on emerging issues in the field of copyright and related rights and their impact on national copyright regimes of developing countries including the WIPO new treaties;
2. Exchange of experiences and knowledge among participating countries and with the host on the development of effective copyright infrastructures and practices to cope with the challenges posed by the digital environment for developing countries;
3. The capacity to forge public-private partnerships supportive of copyright policies and the cultural economies;
4. Opportunities for bilateral, regional, inter-regional and international cooperation including south-south cooperation among copyright offices. |
