Description: The Seminar is based on the World Intellectual Property Report 2017: Intangible Capital in Global Value Chains. The Report explores the contribution of intangible capital, especially technology, branding and design, to the production and distribution of goods and services. The aim of the conference is to provide information to policy makers as to how developing economies have succeeded in positioning themselves in the global economy and make their own contribution to the creation of intangible capital.
