The WIPO Strategic Goal VI-driven objectives of the proposed workshop are:
to commence with the implementation of the Strategic Plan for Building Respect for IP;
to celebrate IP Day and to empower change for woman in innovation and creativity;
to enhance cooperation with the two local universities to promote the teaching and studying of IP Law and principles; and
to introduce training material developed to train senior investigators and prosecutors, police recruits and magistrates in the lower courts on the social and economic impact of counterfeiting and piracy. |
