Consultative Meetings & Signature Ceremony for the Partnership Agreement on the National IP Education and Training Plan of Oman |

Further to the missions undertaken to Oman in 2017 to develop and agree on the National IP Education and Training Plan of Oman, we have now received from the Omani authorities a draft Partnership Agreement between WIPO and the relevant government ministries in Oman to jointly finance and implement the Plan. They have proposed to hold a Joint Signature Ceremony on April 26, 2018, involving senior government representatives from relevant government Ministries and I would represent the WIPO Academy. The Signature Ceremony will be organized as part of a Workshop on the theme for World IP Day at which I would give a keynote presentation. They have also proposed a series of consultation meetings on April 25 to discuss implementation of the Agreement and the National IP Education and Training Plan. |
