WIPO and the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) are planning to formalize their collaboration by concluding a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote ADR options for IP disputes in the Republic of Korea, and to explore the potential utilization of WIPO case administration as may be appropriate. As envisaged in the MoU, KIPO and the Center will organize mediation and arbitration seminars and training programs for concerned stakeholders and neutrals.
The WIPO-KIPO Workshop and Seminar of May 3 and 4 will provide an opportunity to present WIPO’s mediation and arbitration services and explain their operation to local IP practitioners.
