Copyright training for francophone and Lusophone African broadcasters. The two day activity is addressed to directors of legal affairs of African broadcasting organizations and head of corporate & business affairs members of ABU. It will contribute to enhance the understanding and the respect of copyright matters of broadcasters in their daily activities in particular when creating, acquiring and using protected content. It is expected that this activity will also contribute to enhanced respect for copyright and increased rights collections in relation to radio and TV uses for which 85% of collected revenues originate from only 2 countries of the continent (CISAC figures). |
