In response to the request from the ASEAN Secretariat for the organization of the official launching of ASEAN Patent Scope Services during the opening ceremony of the AWGIPC, which will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam from July 17 to 19, 2017, the following two WIPO officials are proposed
1. Mr. Juneho Jang, Senior Regional Manager, Industrial Property Office Business Solutions Division (IPOBSD) to discuss the technical framework of the ASEAN Patent Scope and sustainability and maintenance of the service. He will also make a presentation on the functionalities of ASEAN Patent Scope Services; and
2. Mr. Candra Darusman, Deputy Director, WIPO Singapore Office, to deliver the opening remarks at the Launching Ceremony and participate in the ASEAN-WIPO Consultation Meeting for the development of regional promotion activities on the use of ASEAN Patent Scope |
