The development of a National IP Strategy for Viet Nam will be undertaken in three phases as follows:
- Phase 1: Initial assessment mission, desk research and baseline survey, including preparation of an analytical report based on initial findings;
- Phase 2: Consultation with relevant ministries, government agencies and stakeholders to validate the initial findings and gather additional information and data as required as well as to draft the first version of the Strategy; and,
- Phase 3: Validation and finalization of the draft Strategy through revisions of the texts and holding a roundtable meeting with relevant ministries, government agencies and stakeholders.
It is expected that Phase 1 and 2 will be undertaken before the end of 2017 and Phase 3 will be completed by the end of the first half of 2018. Accordingly, from a financial perspective, it is proposed to cover the costs of Phase 1 and 2 under the regular budget of ASPAC Bureau complemented by FIT/Australia |
