| Description: |
(i) WIPO support SIPSU and KUL in the organization of the Regional Workshop on IP Policies for Universities and Research Institutions and the meeting of the expert group to discuss the practical aspects of the further development and implementation of the Project, to be held in Kyiv, on July 5 and 6, 2017;
(ii) Mr. Svantner, Director, Department for Transition and Developed Countries (TDC) and Mr. Mohammad Alhabbal, ICS, TDC, undertake a mission to Kyiv from July 4 to 6, 2017, in order to:
- attend the consultations with the top-level governmental officials of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in order to discuss the implementation of the Project, on July 4, 2017;
- participate in the above mentioned Workshop and meeting of the expert group;
- provide the master class for the students of KUL on July 6, 2017.
The objectives of the events would be to:
(i) promote the elaboration and implementation of IP policies at the universities and research institutions in Ukraine;
(ii) exchange good practices/lessons learned in this field; and
(iii) discuss the practical aspects of the further development and implementation of the National Project for IP Policies in Universities and Research Institutions in Ukraine. |
