1. For many years the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center has organized annual Arbitration and Mediation Workshops in Geneva. Since 2012, to further promote ADR awareness among stakeholders in different regions, as well as generally stimulate demand for WIPO ADR services, the Center has organized such events outside Geneva, namely in Singapore in 2012, Seoul, Republic of Korea in 2013, New York, USA in 2014, Palo Alto, USA in 2015, and Beijing and Shanghai, China in 2016.
2. In 2017, to further promote ADR awareness among intellectual property and technology stakeholders, the Center is organizing, jointly with the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition and the Munich IP Dispute Resolution Forum, and supported by the Licensing Executives Society (LES) Germany, these two events being held in Munich, Germany. |
