The purpose of the assignment is, therefore, to collect success stories from around the world on the effective use of TISC resources, not only patent databases, but also the resources available through WIPO’s ARDI program. Moreover, two countries, Colombia and Uganda, have been identified for the expert to visit so as to take part in TISC training, activities and have the possibility of interviewing stakeholders. In this respect, two missions will be organized and funded by our Program to these countries in addition to financing the deliverables as per terms of reference (attached). The assignment will be completed by publishing a number of articles on these success stories as examples of good practices available for other developing countries.
