To ensure the continuity our engagement in this body, WIPO has accepted the invitation, extended by The United Nations Climate Change Secretariat, to participate as an Observer.
Meeting (2)
This activity is envisaged in the approved Workplans for Program 20/0068 P1584 as well as for Program 18/0051 P3045. Our participation in these meetings contributes to the achievement of Program 20’s Expected Result “WIPO effectively interacts and partners with UN and other IGO processes and negotiations”, “Coordinating WIPO’s input and contribution to / representation at various UN and IGO processes” Program 18’s Expected Result “IP-based platforms and tools for knowledge transfer, technology adaptation and diffusion from developed to developing countries, particularly least developed countries, to address global challenges” |
