Reference is made to the email from Dr. Shlomit Yanisky-Ravid, Director, Comparative Legal Research Center, Ono Academic College (ONO), Israel, dated August 19, 2016 (copy is enclosed) confirming the request for assistance of WIPO in organizing a study visit of a group of students to WIPO to learn about the work of the said organization in the protection of intellectual property rights (IPRs) and to discuss recent developments and emerging issues which are being dealt with at the global scale.
The request follows previous study visits of ONO to WIPO and the ongoing collaboration between ONO and WIPO. Discussions have also been held with Mr. Yuriy Boshytsky, Rector and Professor of Kyiv University, Ukraine, to include the participation of this institution in the event.
It is proposed to organize the Study Visit in the form of a seminar at WIPO from November 29, 2016 to December 1, 2016. |
