The objective of the seminar is to present a comprehensive view of the useful functions WIPO can provide for the benefit of stakeholders in Norway including the global IP systems, the normative program and major studies, global databases for IP, platforms and tools for the connected knowledge economy. WIPO will try to focus the presentations more towards an innovator stakeholder community rather than a lawyer stakeholder audience. Taking into account that the WIPO seminar coincides with an innovation themed week hosted by Patentstyret, WIPO has taken on board several suggestions made by our Norwegian partners aimed at making the Seminar more relevant to this preplanned theme. A stock taking meeting with WIPO’s Norwegian counterparts in the Patentstyret will take place during the course of the mission. |
