In his letter of January 22, 2016 (copy attached), Mr. Grigory Ivliev, Director General, Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent), requested WIPO to participate in the Nineteenth Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovation Technologies Archimedes, Moscow, March 29 to April 1, 2016, and to co-organize a Regional Seminar on Intellectual Property Policies in Universities and Research Institutions, in the frame of Salon Archimedes, on March 31 and April 1, 2016. In addition, the consultations regarding the use of appropriate IP terminology in Russian language has been requested and scheduled for April 2, 2016.
The objective of the event would be raising awareness about the importance of the development of IP Policies in participating Universities and Research Institutions, using the Model Policy developed by WIPO for countries in transition |
