| Description: |
At its reconvened fourth session, the CWS will continue its work to develop and revise WIPO Standards and update related matters in the field of IP information and documentation, including surveys published in the WIPO Handbook on Industrial Property Information and Documentation. In particular, the CWS will formalize its agreement that was informally reached at the meeting held in May 2014, including the new WIPO Standard ST.26 regarding presentation of nucleotide and amino acid sequence listings using XML and the revision of Standard ST.60 regarding bibliographic data relating to marks. In addition, the CWS will consider new proposals for the new WIPO standard regarding sound marks and the revision of Standards ST.3 (office codes), ST.14 (citation) and ST.96 (XML for all IP types). The CWS will also discuss the decision of the 47th session of the WIPO GA in relation to the CWS, including DA matters. |
