In his letter of December 31, 2015 (copy attached), Mr. Grigory Ivliev, Director General,
Federal Service for Intellectual Property (ROSPATENT), requested WIPO to support the organization of a Seminar on Intellectual Property for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, to be held in Novosibirsk, Siberian Federal District, Russian Federation, March 22 to 23, 2016.
WIPO’s commitment to assist ROSPATENT in this endeavor was confirmed in the letter dated January 6, 2016 (copy attached), from the Director General to Mr. Grigory Ivliev, Director General, ROSPATENT.
The objective of the Seminar would be to discuss the practical issues of IP protection and use by SMEs, enhance capacities of the national SMEs on IP management, and exchange best practices in this field |
