Title: IV Central American Ministerial Meeting on IP: Establishment of Sub-Regional Cooperation Programs to Promote the Use of the IP System as a Development Tool with Social Inclusion
Description: (1) To ensure that IP is considered on high priority in the Agenda of the relevant Ministers of Central American countries and
the Dominican Republic, and that the debate at ministerial-level on IP strategic issues and policies is maintained with the perspective of achieving future harmonization in the region within several areas related to the IP use for the economic and social development of the region;
(2) To take stock/review of the achievements attained since the First Ministerial Meeting, in particular the development of IP national strategies by the Central American countries and
the Dominican Republic; and
(3) To identify and engage in new commitments in order to facilitate the implementation of IP strategies and policies with a view inter alia to strengthen the process of harmonization in the region regarding IP through the establishment of regional synergies and collaborative actions.
