Reference is made to the request from Dr. Moe Moe Thwe, Director, IP Section, Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), concerning the IP awareness briefing sessions for the parliamentarians on the draft IP Laws (i.e. Patent, Trademark, Industrial Design and Copyright Laws) (copy attached). The same request was made verbally earlier during the discussions at the National Conference on Establishment of a Modern and Development-Oriented Intellectual Property (IP) System, which took place in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar, on February 16 and 17, 2015.
