Please see the attached e-mails of April 3 and 21, 2015 of Mr. Parviz Miraliev, Head, International Cooperation Division, National Center for Patents and Information (NCPI). Following further discussion with Mr. Miraliev, it was clarified that the request to WIPO is to support the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in their efforts to garner assistance from donor countries for implementing the Tajik Intellectual Property Strategy 2014 – 2020. To this end, a half-day meeting would be organized by NCPI to which representatives of the donor community would be invited. The Tajik IP Strategy would be presented to the Donor Community by the Office which will be supported by interventions by the WIPO delegation on IP Strategies in general and their relevance to supporting development objectives of a country and sharing of experiences of countries in the region in IP Strategy development. |
