The 21st session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 21) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the 11th session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (CMP 11) will take place in Paris, France, from November 30 to December 11, 2015. Also taking place will be the sessions of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI), the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) and the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Durban Platform for Enhanced (ADP).
ERD continues to coordinate WIPO’s engagement in the UNFCCC process. COP 21 in Paris will be an important event expected to conclude negotiations with the signing of a new international climate change agreement. |
