The main objective is to raise the awareness of and to promote the Beijing Treaty on Audiovisual Performances (BTAP) and the Marrakesh Treaty to Facilitate Access to Published Works for Persons Who Are Blind, Visually Impaired or Otherwise Print Disabled (MVT). The program will cover an in-depth analysis of the provisions of these treaties and crucial issues and options for national implementation. In addition, the event has also the objectives of gathering informatin on the status of the implementation of these instruments from participating countries, introducing other WIPO-administered treaties in the field of copyright and related rights and discussing other copyright topics such as those on the agenda of the SCCR. |
