The objectives of the study visit are for the Pakistan delegation to (i) increase their understanding of IP mechanisms for promoting linkages between research institutions and industry; (ii) enhance their knowledge of web-based networks for technology transfer; and (iii) strengthen their capacity to foster university-industry collaboration especially through better matching of the supply and demand factors in the innovation ecosystem - December 15, 16 and 18, 2014 (Seoul) and December 17, 2014 (Daejeon).
Furthermore, on December 12, 2014 the WIPO official would hold consultation meetings with officials from KIPO and the Korea Invention Promotion Association (KIPA) on arrangements for the Study Visit and on the implementation of outstanding activities under the Work Plan of FIT/Korea(IP) 2014-2015. |
