Upon the request from Mr. Leonid Sokolov, Rector, Vologda State University (copy attached), WIPO supports the organization of the Workshop on IP Policies in Universities and Research Institutions, to be held in Vologda, Russian Federation, on November 17 and 18, 2014.
In his message of October 13, 2014 (copy attached), Mr. Zaurbek Albegonov, Director, International Cooperation Department, Federal Service for Intellectual Property (ROSPATENT), solicited WIPO to finance the participation of Mr. Ivan Bliznets, Rector, Russian Academy of Intellectual Property (RGAIS), in the mentioned Workshop who would make a presentation on a relevant topic and facilitate the discussions during the Workshop.
In this regard, it is suggested to meet the request of Mr. Albegonov and finance the participation (travel and DSA) of the RGAIS representative in the Workshop. |
