5th International Conference of the Mexican Chapter of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AMPPI). March 2 to 4, 2016 – Guadalajara (Mexico).
1. We have received the attached invitation from Mr. Manuel Guerra Zamarro, Director General of the Copyright Office of Mexico (INDAUTOR) to participate in the 5th International Conference of the Mexican Chapter of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AMPPI), taking place from March 2 to 4, 2016 in Guadalajara (Mexico).
2. WIPO has been requested to deliver a presentation on “Copyright protection on Apps and Audiovisual Works” and participate in the related panel discussion. The program covers several aspects of the international IP system, including copyright and related rights.
3. This panel represents a good opportunity to speak about the protection of software and video games; and raise the awareness of the two recent studies on video games, produced by the Organization. The participation in this meeting will also strengthen the relation between WIPO and INDAUTOR. |
