The objectives of the Consultation Meetings (i) in Myanmar are to meet with the national authorities concerned and relevant stakeholder groups to impart knowledge and expertise on how to set up a national IP office from the ground-up that is modern, functional and sustainable, especially in the context of the country concerned; and (ii) in Malaysia are to hold consultation meetings with the Director General and the two national experts to share knowledge and experience in developing national IP strategies.
