From November 5 to 10, 2019, the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government host the Second China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai, China. Within the framework of this event, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) and the National Leading Group on the Fight Against IPR Infringement and Counterfeiting will co-organize the Second Forum on the Fight Against IPR Infringement and Counterfeiting (Forum) on November 6, 2019.
Following invitations dated May 25 and June 25, 2019, the Director General, in his replies dated July 1 and 11, 2019 (both attached), indicated that WIPO would be represented by Mr. Minelik A. Getahun, Assistant Director General, Global Issues Sector and Ms. Louise Van Greunen, Director, Building Respect for IP Division, Global Issues Sector. |
